This is the story of my shadowed past.

          Many, many moons ago I had lived in a wonderful pack, my mother and father were leader. I remember the day I was born, it was in the middle of winter, mother had not expected her pups until spring. It was cold and the pack had not reached the new dens. My mom had three pups, me, my sister Silverstride, and my brother Foon. I was the smallest of the pups, my mother couldn't believe it, nor my father. They thought I wasn't going to make it through the winter, but my mother still took care of me, even watched me closer.

As time went by and spring came, me and siblings survived the winter well, yet we had almost lost Foon. We grew stronger together, I however remained smaller than the other wolves and so i was left in the den alot as my mother and father didn't think it was a good idea to take me out. Then one day when they did let me out with them to hunt, a doe crossed me and my mother told me to go and I went. It felt like I was flying as I chased after that doe. I caught up to it, sprang and got it by the neck. I came back dragging the thing in my mouth and my mom and pop looked at me in amazement. My mom said, "Adelle, did you know how fast you were going?" I shook my head and said I run just like all the other wolves and my mom shook her head, "No dearie, you have a gift of speed." I looked at her in confusion, and then I understood, that flight I felt, was my fast speed. And so my mother put me as beta, without a mate too. It was great for a while.

Then one day my mother put me in charge of watching her newborn pups, my brothers and sisters. Silverstride also stayed home from the hunt as well, I had no idea what her intentions were. So when she came to visit me, she said "Well, well, how is it little sister? Being near the high ranks, giving orders to your big sister and brother?" I told her it wasn't really anything special, but then she got so mad at me, and with a fierce growl she said, "How is it just because you get some super speed that you get put in charge! I should have been beta long before you! You don't even have a mate you..you..you runt!" That last word stung me, but I didn't have time to react as she walked towards me, backing me into the den. "I can't believe mom put you in charge, you're puny, your hunting stinks, you think you can rule over everyone but your just a filthy little pup." I got so enraged and blind with fury, I attacked her, and that was what she wanted. We fought and fought, yet she wasn't putting up a strong one and it was too late for me to figure oute why. I heard mother's cry in the background as her and father entered the den. I looked to them as my fury faded and then looked back, and even though she was wounded she had a smug look on her face. I looked passed her and there lay my brothers and sisters. I was horrified, and I didn't know what to do. Oh my sister played her part well, when my mom came closer that smug face was gone and she sounded terrified, "Mother, I don't know what came over her I just came to check on her and told her I'd watch the pups for her, she got mad saying I was trying to take her place in rank and attacked me, and barracaded me in the den with the pups, she just went wild with fury and attacked anything in her way." My mother was upset and my father was infuriated and said he couldn't belive I would do something like that and so they banished me.

These days I walk alone now, searching for a place to call my own, a home that'll take me. My only friend has been the moon. I talk to a wolf now and then, but they say but a few passing words and go. I carry the burden of lonelines as it slowly kills me inside, hoping one day that i might just have a friend.

           My name is Amanda Giannetti I come from the town of Rochester, NY.  I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, yeah I have a big family but to be honest it isn't all that bad. My oldest brother lives in L.A and my second oldest sister is moving out soon so the house is starting to empty out. My oldest sister still lives at home, but right now she is in Pennsylvania for college. .

I am a friendly and highly spirited person, I have a great respect for everyone equally. No matter who you are or who your friends are I treat you as I would anyone else. Your words may intimidate me, but I won't let you push me into being afraid. I am strong at heart, stronger than most could understand. I am wise for my age, understanding situations even without experiencing them myself. Although may it seem that I am the serious type, I am quite friendly and I like to have fun.

I have quite a few things about me you wouldn't know about unless you asked me, so I won't spoil all the things about me...just yet.
